Floppy install, network problem.

Hello,

I am having a problem with my networks install. I am installing on a Sony Vaio, it has no ethernet, but it has ethernet on the docking station.

I boot the floppy and load drivers from net-drivers1 and net-drivers2, but i still cant get it to work. DHCP or Static configurations. My router shows the ethernet on the port lit up.

I can't remember which tty you have to look at ... try them all. ALT-F1 is the main installer screen, and one of them ALT F2-F5 (I think) will show you the right logs. Have a peek and see if there is an error message that will shed some light on the problem.
