flash player missing fonts

I'm using Flash Player 7 (7,0,25,0) under a debian-based distribution running Mozilla Firefox 0.8 (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; es-ES; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.8).

I installed the last versions of the flash plugin and the ttfonts and urw-fonts needed for this plugin to work.

I am using Verdana fonts for some flash movies, but I cant see them when I open them in the previous browsers. It seems that the flash player plugin only detects some of the fonts, and not all the available ones.

I have already tried to attach and link the true type fonts inside the document and it doesn't work.

How does Flash Player detect the fonts installed on the system?
Does anybody know how to solve this problem? Is it a bug of linux flash player?
