OK..
So basically I did a fresh install of etch, upgraded to lenny fine! And then I installed flash 10 the 64 bit version available from adobe labs available here:

So I unpacked it and moved it into .mozilla/plugins as the notes says, and now when ever I open a webpage with flash it crashes....
