Firefox 60.2.0est Backspace Delete keys

Hi, since Debian stable upgraded to Firefox 60.2.0esr the behaviour of the backspace & delete buttons within the main webpage frame don't work correctly. If I type something in to say DuckDuckGo's search box & try to delete something I've typed incorrectly, these buttons do not do anything now. At least, so long as I've not highlighted the text; if I highlight the text the delete key behaves correctly but the backspace one still doesn't. Both these keys behave correctly in the URL bar & bookmarks search box.

I've tried restarting Firefox with all add-ons disabled (AdBlockPlus, HTTPs Everywhere, DisableJavaScript), but no change.

Note: these two buttons work 100% correctly in this message box where I'm composing this post, so it just seems to be search engine input search fields.

Has anyone else encountered this?

I am unable to duplicate this issue on Firefox v. 60.2.0esr on Debian 9 under Fluxbox. Both backspace and delete keys work normally.

I get the same result as frankbell under Debian 9.5 and Gnome Flashback. They keys you indicated seem to work properly with DuckDuckGo.
