File does not exist: /var/www/favicon.ico


I create html directory in /var/www in debian sarge, and i have many files in this directory like index.php and when i enter http://192.168.1.2/html/index.php this error appear and the error in the error log file /var/log/apache-ssl/error.log is :

File does not exist: /var/www/favicon.ico

how can solve this problem?

??? you make the file exist!

This is a "favicon.ico" if you Google for favicon.ico there are lots available on the net, just place it in your apache root directory

It's not really an "error". It's just browsers checking to see if you have an icon for your site. Doesn't hurt anything at all if you don't have one.

You can use "gimp" software make a favicon.ico file, then put it at /var/www/

*favicon.ico file's pixels is 16*16
