Failed to load installer component

I'm trying to install Debian from a dvd-image located on the harddrive. I am booting the debian installer from an usbstick. Everything seems fine, until after it discovers and selects my iso for installation. Then i get the errormessage:

[!!] Load installer components from an installer ISO
Failed to load installer component
Loading libc6-udeb failed for unknown reasons. Aborting.

I have verified the iso using md5sum.

Does anyone know what might cause this??
