Evolution stopped retrieving, again!

I had posted this same problem back in October when I was using Ubuntu and now it has caught up to me in Debian. I have Exim4/fetchmail/Evolution running and this morning Evolution stopped retrieving my mail from /var/mail/MyID. I get an error message "Could not open mail file /var/mail: Is a directory"

It also stopped sending this morning but I think that's a server issue.

Here is the link to the previous post. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ight=evolution

you could try updating the evolution package to a newer version because It sounds like a bug in evolution.
