Etch Grub commands and set up
I've been using Fedora on an Asus A8N5X MB, AMD 3800+ 64bit, 2 GB ram system and just did a netinstall of ETCH to replace the Fedora. Etch is on the first drive (a SATA) with the Windows and I told it to put Grub in the MBR. (I think I'm saying that right, I accepted the choice at the end of the installation)

However, now when I boot, it takes me to a Grub command line with no options as far as tabing between the OS's. How do I get this thing started and configured to let me choose between Windows and Debian?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, everything went south and I've had to re-install Windows and the apps first. In fairness, it may have been the Maxtor that crapped out that was really the problem. The good news is that this was a back up machine set up for the purpose of trying things out. Now the question is, "Do I feel lucky" to want to try things again.

Thanks again.
