error when installing debian on vmware with amd64 cpu
my host os is windows xp, i want to install debian in vmware, because my cpu is amd64 ( turion 64 x2), i download debian-testing-amd64-binary-1.iso.
the vmware(version 5.5.2) setting:
new guest os:
other linux 2.6.x kernel 64-bit
hard disk: scsi
virtual processor: 1
when the guest os debian create file system, it works too slow,increase one percent sevral minutes,and a moment later, it dies. it always dies at this stage even i have sevral tries.
i dont know how to fix this problem, thanks.
