Anybody can help me how i can solve the below problem :

command:

./configure -prefix=/home/rancid -localstatedir=/home/rancid/var/rancid

Error Shown:

It says very clearly that it can't find a "make" program. So, install either make or gmake, which it shows it checked for. "apt-get install make". And, why are you compiling this package, when you can also install IT with "apt-get"???

You dont need to compile this in ubuntu -- its in the packages.
