Error during kernel recompile. Linux 2.6.0 test3_mm3
 

I'm having a "/init/main.o" error while trying to create the bzImage.

include/linux/sysdev.h:62: warning: 'struct sysdev sys_device' declared inside parameter....

make:*** [init] Error 2


This pertains to Linux Kernel 2.6.0_test3 patched with mm3.
I'd appreciate any help you can give me...

If you can't solve this one yourself, don't try to compile that kernel.

I'm sorry for my terse post, but I am being helpful. SG has the right to compile any kernel he wants. I'm suggesting that he stay away from that one. It's a pre-release and essentially an extension of the 2.5 series, and it more than likely won't compile. It probably needs the loving hands of a kernel developer to do so.
