Enabling WebCam Driver using gspca

Hello, Im trying to install the gspca driver that enables support for my HP webcam into linux. But when trying to build it I received the error: FATAL, you need to install the Kernal source for your running kernel.

Im running 4.6.4 and been trying to install the kernel for a few days now but to no luck. Followed many instructions and from here, http://ask.xmodulo.com/install-full-...an-ubuntu.html

when i ran
Code:

$ apt-get source linux-image-$(uname -r)
Code:

apt-get source linux-image-$(uname -r)

How do I get the .dsc file to be verified?
