enabling command option completion


how can i activate or enable the command option completion using the tab button in debian?

you're talking about bash, right?

I believe it is already enabled. When you install debian it is using the old `sh` that hasn't the command completion feature.
I haven't any problems using that in all my debian installs. (after successfully installed debian of course)
Please give more details...

ya i know that command completion is already enabled.., but i need to know how to enable " command-options" completion

Check /etc/bash_completion and of course:
http://www.caliban.org/bash/index.shtml#completion
