dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 Advanced Now?

So, why is that when I first installed xserver-xfree86, it did a beautiful dialog that autodetected my video hardware and quickly setup xwindows, but now, after the first install, I do a dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86, and it always asks the advanced questions (like what bus your card is using). Can I get the autodetect method back somehow? I figure it did it for me once, it must be able to do it again, right?

Please help!

When it asks for the bus just hit enter. Using dpkg-reconfigure uses a priority setting of low rather than what is set in debconf. To change that you need to set the priority with the -p flag. ex: dpkg-reconfigure -pmedium xserver-xfree86
