dpkg reconfigure xorg no graphics

I'm installing a new debian system but when I run dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg the only questions I get are about the keyboard. No way to set the graphics driver to installed nvidia. Do I need another command nowadays?

Regards

Well, just added the driver nvidia to xorg.conf and now it works fine (I see we get an nice Nvidia logo thingy at boot). I do wonder if I need to add any extra options?

Regards

No, it's just that dependence on /etc/X11/xorg.conf is being phased out in Xorg, and dpkg (dpkg-reconfigure) merely reflects that when setting up xserver-xorg. However, Xorg will use one if provided, which then only needs to be a minimal version with just the desired deviations from default. For nVidia use, the "nvidia-xconfig" command (and package) is provided to make an xorg.conf file where none exists, or to adapt an existing one.

Try this:

dpkg-reconfigure -phigh -xserver-xorg

It does everything automatically
