Downloading debian iso


Running into problem here. when i try to download debian from the ftp, using wftp the folder debian is empty, where can i download debian. Also how many cd's comes with it.

You can download the first ISO and burn it. The installer can connect to the net and download anything else you need.

you can also install debian from 2 floppies and download the rest as you go. even the drivers. This will all be done pretty autmatically by the installer.
the two files are rescue.bin and root.bin
you probably want to use the bf2.4 ones.
and remember to use the same versions of each (ex. compact & compact or bf2.4 and bf2.4 etc.)
