Question Do Woody support 3Com's 3C905C NIC?


Hi all,

I installed the base Debian woody, but it look like can't dectect my 3Com 3C905C NIC, while install Debian, I know some choose it let me to select that which device made a module to kernal, but I find all the kernal/net/ have the 3C905 series yet, but have the choose of 3C59X series in the menu.

I want to ask, now, I installed, how to do so, need reinstall the base system again? My kernal is 2.4.18-bf2.4.

It might be that the 3c59x driver is integrated to the installation kernel.

Try running 'ifconfig -a' to see if there exists the interface already.
