Do login (no option for kde)

My problem:
I use kde by default. But when I do login the option kde disapear just stay gnome as the possible window manager. The system speaks about gdm when boot...
What I can do to execute login in kde and not gnome?
So, I want make my defult window manage to be kde...
How?

assuming you have kde installed, and Debian is installed correctyly, you can try this as root: with your favorite
editor, edit/create your ~/.xsession, making kde your default desktop environment. Example:

#vim /home/your_user_name/.xsession

then copy/paste this:

#!/bin/sh

xhost +localhost
exec kdestart

save/exit

#dpkg --purge gdm
#apt-get clean

#apt-get install kdm

reboot

after you come back, you should have kdm, and kde should start by default, once you login.
