dns configure...


how can i configure bind in debian...

so plz send me step by step .. i m using bind9

The magic solution provider is google, as usual...

Anyway, if you do not need a complete DNS server, only a simple forwarder then try DNSMasq (http://thekelleys.org.uk/), it can read host settings from hosts file, from dhcp.leases file and forward other queries to parent name servers. (e.g. you are setting up a local name server for a home/corporal subnet)
