direct rendering: No


I installed steam:i386 but when i start it i get this error

How to enable direct rendering in jessie?

i have instaled

Linked all to
cd /usr && ln -s lib lib64

mkdir -p /usr/X11R6/lib64/modules/dri/
cd /usr/X11R6/lib64/modules/dri/
ln -s /usr/lib64/dri/fglrx_dri.so
and same for /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/fglrx_dri.so

i have ati radeon hd 6850 card

The radeon driver is not installed correctly.

Not sure if you're doing it correctly, but you're sim link commands don't have a source so it will fail.

To get your card working you have to login via cli & stop your dm. Then you create xorg.conf file

sudo mv xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf
You may have to also do aticonfigure initial.

i try this too but after aticonfigure make his file hes reading xorg.conf from /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-fglrx.something...
so today i try to download ati drivers from ati site purge all drivers and install downloaded and could't get X working so i format all and install ubuntu...
