Hello All!

I've just installed Debian Etch in my laptop, everything is working
well except Lilo. As you know grub is installed by default so I decided to install lilo, after installed it I run lilo -b /dev/hda to put it in MBR. I can boot Debian without problems, but it takes about fifteen seconds until it load the first image. The follow is what appears to me at the boot time:

Loading Debian ........................................................
...................................................

After many "......." the system starts to load.

Does Anybody have already get this problem??

Hi,

I could solve this problem adding the option "compact" in my lilo.conf and then
running lilo.
