debian testing/unstable

Hi

i've been running debian testing/unstable for a while under production environment since i needed wordpress. (if only i knew there were backports). Will there be issues running it on production? like packages breaking?

Presently i'm updating the stable updates via apt. Will there be issues here too?

Thks! Appreciate all the kind views and responses. :)

It's always going to be playing with fire running a production server from unstable, but since you should have minimal packages installed on your server, it shouldn't be too hard to track down what's broke things. Pay attention whilst running an update to see what packages it's wanting to update, and hold back packages you're not sure of. Although packages don't break that much, it's always a possibility!

Thks for the reply. :)

Certainly. I have to agree with your comments about running production server from unstable.

Hmm can i safely say, if i don't run stable (with the packages) from the begining i will definitely hvae problems in future?
