Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

I tried multiple times to download the nonfree cinnamon live version of the ISO to burn to DVD and USB stick, but the installation failed with error of reading DVD or there is no disc in drive, I also create USB boot with the Linux Mint Debian build in tool but got the same error, any clue ?

I am not sure that it is the same issue, but on Debian forums I have seen mention of a flaw in the installer in the new images. You may have tumbled onto that issue. Those images are very new, and I would expect something like this would result in replacement images fairly soon. You may have to watch and wait, and add to the voices asking for a fix.
