Debian Sarge ISO images and/or downloading

I'm currently a Slackware user, but am thinking of taking a look at Debian. I'd like something up to date so I was toying with the idea of downloading some of the Sarge ISO images but I have a couple of questions:

1. Is the new debian-installer included in the first ISO image?
2. Is there a list of what's on all those CDs anywhere?
3. If I use the new installer to download packages instead, are the packages saved locally anywhere, so I can burn my own bootable CD/DVD with my selected packages on it?

Thank you.

Yes, it's on the first CD. You can either download the net-installer(110mb) or the first full CD(650mb).
Don't know this answer
Downloaded packages are stored locally in /var/cache/apt/archives. Move them to a temp directory and the follow the instructions in this tutorial Then burn the contents of that directory to a CD/DVD.
