If you have your ADSL modem hooked up to a network card on your computer, and the network card is supported, and you don't have to use any authentication in order to get online in, you're home free. Just configure your network card, in the network config set it to use DHCP (which you most likely use) and then do an FTP or HTTP install. Works fine for me.
If you have to authenticate in order to get online you have to pull a few tricks; which tricks depend on what type of authentication is used.
