debian irc pasting hyperlink how kde gnome
 

first time in forum asking questions so bear with i have looked every where for a solution to no avail so here i sit. i was a avid windows user till recently i had discovered debian sarge supporting everything i did in widows by the way debian is the best i have tried. anyway everything works except irc i was fluent in mirc but the jump to linux wasn't so easy i guess i was spoiled by the auto pasting in mirc and i can't seem to figure it out in linux. tried kvirc ksirc and some kopete sh$t or i think. right now the furthest i get is using mozilla and chatzilla opens the program and the right channel but i can't paste a trigger using various pages namely pa#k$tnew$ sorry for the french just being careful. i could type the trigger but why is there a way to do this if so much appericiated. using gnome or kde it doesn't matter.did i mention i was a novice linux user.

i don't understand exactly your problem, did you try xchat, it is an easy to use irc client for gnome.
