Thanks for responding llamack
/etc/network/interfaces looks like --
Code:
auto lo eth0
iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inet dhcp
iface eth1 inet static
address 192.168.0.2
netmask 255.255.255.0
netork 192.168.0.0
Whenever the computer starts, interface eth1 is already up. I want to be able to prevent it coming up automatically. Better still, if you know what causes the messages
"NULL event in orinoco interupt" constantly scrolling the screen that would be better. The messages don't appear when I am connected to my AP.
