Debian for Raspberry Pi on a Virtual Machine

Hello:

I'm trying to run Debian for Raspberry Pi on a Virtual Machine.

http://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads

I've read that it's possible to run it on QEmu:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hwx2HD-JGtg

I try to run it, but vm doesn't start.
Can any tell me if is possible and how to run Debian for Raspberry Pi on a virtual machine?
Thanks

Yes, it's possible, but you're really asking in the wrong place. The Raspberry Pi project have their own forum, I'd suggest you'd poke (s'cuse the pun) in there: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3 :)
