debian firefox search plugin problem

I have added the search plugin at "http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html". when i wanted to remove the *.src and *.gif which corresponding the search plugin, /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/searchplugins disappeared the *src and *gif(or *.png). (such as Gmail, Deb Search, etc. the google, ebay appear)How can i remove them? Just several files appear at that folder.

Those are the searchplugins that come with the program itself, and are for all users.

The ones you have added as user are in /home/username/.mozilla/searchplugins and only apply to that user. You can remove them from there.
