Debian Branch

Hello all,
I would like to install Debian server, but I don't know which branch to choose. I need apache (1 or 2), php4 and mysql4. And I prefer those packages to be included in the install CD or DVD, not to download updated versions

Sarge comes with the apps you specified. But I wonder, why would you prefer old almost ancient builds from a CD/DVD over new builds with security updates from the net?

Etch also comes with the apps you specified. Etch also comes with the newer Apache2.1, php5, and mysql5.

If you dont care and decide to use ancient software and never upgrade, Sarge is your best choice.

If you plan to upgrade (for example to php5) then Etch is your best choice.
