Debian and logitech keyboard

OK, so I wanted to install debian on my computer and downloaded the latest edition.
After booting the CD i type linux to install. The keyboard works fine till this point. After typing
"linux" and/or pressing Enter, the keyboard stops working. I have tried ps/2, USB and other keyboards too. So, now I'm stuck with redhat :/
Please help me

Well the ps/2 thing should work if it's a ps/2 keyboard. Didn't you get any errors. Which ISO did you use. I'm using a Logitech keyboard and it's working properly. Is that the only question you have to answer for your keyboard or are there any others you might have gotten wrong?

Well, the ISO seemed to work, and I don't know what else could be wrong. ISO: debian-30r2-i386-binary-1_NONUS.iso
I'm thinking that maybe it is something wrong with my mainboard, but it works just fine in Redhat ?
I did not get any errors..

you are gonna have to do some serious reading on how to install Debian.

Search on this site for it, or go to osnews.com and do a search for:

OK, so I tried to boot from the CD again. And after looking around a little I finally found a error message.
Keyboard: Timeout - AT keyboard not present ..
Don't know if this gives you any clues on what I should do ?
And thanks for the osnews link, good reading.

make sure your keyboard is connected, to the tower. Try this at the boot screen:

bf24

press Enter

choose your keyboard, look down the list for 'norway', so maybe it's querty/no, i am just guessing, it will direct you to a 'net install', configure your network, if you got ADSL, Debian will do it automatically, after that follow the osnews article (The Very Verbose Debian Installation Walkthroug) to the letter.

At the end install x-window-system and WindowMaker or IceWM plus the themes:

#apt-get install icewm icewm-themes iceme x-window-system locales

after you're through, as user:

$startx

and you're in, then come back, so we tell you how to update to sarge or sid.

OR

Download the Debian/Sarge net-installer RC1, but you will have to download and burn the ISO.

BTW, i use a Logitech iTouch in spanish.
