Craigevil:
Do you mean run:
Code:
mv ~.mozilla ~.mozilla.bak
( I might switch to Mozilla Firefox)

And I'm thinking about running:
Code:
apt-get install -t squeeze-backports iceweasel
What do you think?

Hi,

the mv command would be
Code:
mv ~/.mozilla ~/.mozilla.bak
The "apt-get install" line you posted should be fine, but as I wrote earlier, it should not be necessary.

Issue solved!

I now have the fancy wallpaper in my G-mail!

I opened the terminal and executed:
Code:
apt-get install -t squeeze-backports iceweasel
Shut down my system and re-started-

Happily reading my Gmail in fantastic graphics and color.

Craigevil; Evo and Eddy1; Thank You!

Hi,

did you actually restart iceweasel as I suggested after installing icedtea6-plugin?
If not, that could explain why it was not working.

Yes Sir; I did restart Iceweasel like you advised me. After I installed <icedtea6> by use of the terminal.
