Debian 4.0 SPARC CD boot problems

Hi there,

I'm trying to install Debian 4 on a Sun Microsystems UltraSPARC 10 Creator 3D box, has a 20GB hard-drive, 512mb of ram and a 500mhz processor (64bit untrasparc, IIRC).

At the startup, I hit STOP+A and type in boot cdrom, the cd is read and then the usual "Press ENTER to start" message shows up.
So I press enter, and then is says "Loading Linux..." and then just hangs.

Any Idea what is wrong (or what I may be doing wrong)?

I've never installed anything on a Sparc platform, so this is new territory for me (well, I did install Solaris10 on it, but its not my cup of tea).
