Debian + 2.6 Kernel + Alsa-base + alsaconf = No Audigy 2 Value detected

I'm having some trouble getting volume to work.

Here's what I've already tried. I have a audigy 2 value.

alsabase + kernel 2.4/2.6 + alsaconf = doesn't detect audigy 2 value
(backports)alsabase + kernel 2.4/2.6 = doesn't detect audigy 2 value, alsa-conf doesn't work.

Any other ideas?

Posibly, you need to recompile your kernel to give support for the Audigy

Maybe, this could help you out

There are few post here in linuxquestions of people that has the same problem, you should do a search to see them
