Thumbs up Dead parrot

I am fairly new to this forum but I feel you deserve special praise for un-selfishly helping not only me, but countless others ..We all have busy schedules but somehow you manage to put that aside to help others...
I just want to say THANKS..

This is a great forum, people helping each other and sharing their experiences and knowledge. I'm happy to be part of it -- whenever I can steal a little bit of free time from other activities.

Almost everyone here, who actually posts, seems to have a good reason to do so. There are not a lot of meaningless posts at linuxquestions (ignore mine).

Almost every time I've found a question here that I could actually answer, someone else beat me to the answer, and most times had a better solution than what I was thinking! I'm not exactly a newbie, but I feel way behind the curve on this forum.

Thumbs up

I agree with this thread. Dead Parrot and others have directly and indirectly helped me learn how this great distribution of Linux. I have had the fortune of answering a few questions, and even learned something new when someone added their own answer (using aptitude over apt-get in some situations). Thank you for your help.

Hear, hear!

Totally agreed. DP is a gent, with infinite patience, and a kind disposition, nothing rattles him, and God knows there are some infidels who should be put to sleep. =)

Kudos to DP, he is a very knowledgeable person to say the least.

Sorry i'm late with my posting, but i've been away for a few days.
