CUPS Printer Problem - prints, but prints gibberish
Hi all,
I'm using the stable release of Debian right now, and I just can't get my printer to work. My printer is an Epson Stylus Color 600, and according to linuxprinting.org, it should work perfectly, even better than in windows.
I have CUPS installed, I have the printer added to CUPS, and it does work... but it prints gibberish. I think that means that the driver is wrong, or the correct PDD file is missing. But I can't find the exact PDD file for my printer, and for the driver, I don't know what to do.. I already have gimp-print installed, but don't know why it isn't working.
My question is, how can I get my printer to print postscript files correctly?
All help is greatly appreciated.
Edit: I forgot to mention, I'm using Fluxbox on this machine, so I don't have any graphical printer configuration programs.
