Creative Labs SB Live


Howd. I cant get my sound card working. I dont know where to start either. I have a Soundblaster Live card.

lspci:

00:0b.1 Input device controller: Creative Labs SB Live! (rev 01)

Anyone?

1. you need to conigure the emu10k1 module to be inserted to the kernel. use modconf to activate the module.

2. you need to modify the permissions on dev/dsp and dev/mixer in order for anyone other than root to maniuplate the sound card from within the OS.
