Create thin client based on Debian

Hi

I would like to create my own thin client.
I will be really happy for any recommendation and experience sharing with self made thin clients.
On of the important themes is to choose slim Window Manager?
What file system: Ext4 or Ext2 should be used to get maximum speed?
Thanks in advance for any help - much appreciated!

DebianEdu (or SkoleLinux is the same thing) has a thin client option you may be able to work from. Maybe check out their pages and see if you can get information from there.

Let me ask what do you mean by thin client. Do you want to pxe or gpxe it to some diskless computer?
