configfile for keymap

Kind of stupid, small, but yet annoying, possibly problematic in the future problem:

Think I have chosen the wrong keymap when installing debian (few months ago). Later when configuring X I did it right apparently. Now when using X all is fine, but when going into text-mode my keyboard layout is messed up: / and - have changed position and I can't find | (so filtering a search with " | grep ... " is impossible ). Does anyone know how I can change it? There must be a configfile somewhere, but I can't find the right one.

Have you tried 'dpkg-reconfigure locales' and 'dpkg-reconfigure console-data'?
