chroot for 32bit progs in debian64 port

Hey all, I'm running the alioth amd64 port for debian and it's all shibby. I don't think I really understand the HOWTO to installing an IA32 chroot and using it to run 32 bit apps. Can someone simplify the sections "Installing a Debian IA32 chroot system" and "Running applications inside the chroot (e.g. OpenOffice.org)" into easy understandable and executable steps? Thanks a lot.

*EDIT*
Sorry, to clarify: I did the basic netinstall from alioth and haven't messed with too many settings yet. I just want to be sure of what to type and to make sure it all applies to me etc etc. Also, a little description of what's actually going on (ie what am I actually doing) with each line I type in would be awesome... it's how I learn ya know?

I assume you have read this document, and it is that what you are having problems with.
The Ubuntu wiki has some instructions that might help in understand ing that all (remember, Ubuntu is based on Debian so the instructions should be pretty familiar. Note that it has some Ubuntuisms there though that you need to see through to be successful on Debian): http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/DebootstrapChroot Please

yes, that's the HOWTO, I guess I forgot to include the link. If I can't use the link you provided verbatum then I really can't use it. The problem is that I don't have a good understanding of what's going on so I have no idea what applies and what doesn't apply...
