heya guys, i have a semi barebones install of woodie upgradded to sarge.
i use a compiled version of fluxbox (the most recent dev version)
when i un tat/gz a user theme to the ~/.fluxbox folder the themes will make a "styles" folder (givin its the fiorst theme installed and the folder isnt there) and places the theme file in there, and it creates if applicable extra folders in ~/.fluxbox/ for any extra files, pictures it requires.
all user themes work fine, but i cant get a background to work :/ they just display the same background color that the default theme before it had,a nd when u reload X it just displays that weird gray thatch patters thats defaut to X (there is even a default Fluxbox theme like this, called blueFlux)
i dont knw how to change the background in a way that works, i have the folder called backgrounds inside the ~/.fluxbox folder
i have the line in the theme file that points to it also:
"rootCommand: bsetbg -f ~/.fluxbox/backgrounds/glass.jpg"
(glass.jpg is the themes default BG for example)
that just doesnt work at all :/ jsut displays that default gray BG
anyone know how to get a BG to work under those conditions?
what commands/extra software i need to get it to work?
thanks guys

[edit]
not shure if it makes a diff, but i dont use gnome or kde, just fluxbox running with XDM

)
and the default themes all seem to use the "bsetroot" command instead, and use it with a RGB setting"
