change splash theme in my gnome


I just downloaded a splash theme for my gnome with xml and png files.
but i dont know how load it

The easiest way to use a new image file for your splash screen is to install the gtweakui program and then run the gtweakui-session command. This will give you a nice GUI to make any desired changes.

# apt-get install gtweakui
# gtweakui-session
