change gnome startup background under squeeze
 
Hello

Howto change gnome startup background under squeeze?
I mean the beackground from user login mask.

in the gnome main menu
system->administration->login window->local (translated)
you can get gdm-themes from gnome-look.org or make one yourself.

Thx, but there is not login window under gnome from squeeze.

I've had to actually edit /usr/share/gdm/greeter-config/20_debian. I think that file starts off as a symlink to /etc/gdm3/greeter.gconf-defaults, so I actually deleted the symlink and just copied the file over and started editing. That file is also where you can change the themes.
