Cannot admin through webmin..

Hi,
I am using Debian Sarge and I just installed webmin through apt-get. My problem is that I cannot adminstrate my linux box using webmin and I cannot see anything there except for configuring the webmin itself.
Can anyone help me solve my problem?

thanks in advance,

S

Hi,
I don't have any problems to login on to Webmin but my problem is that when I login into webmin, I can see nothing except for webmin-related stuff. I used webmin with redhat before and I used to lot for ex. working with mail server conf. and other stuff. But here I cannot see anything. I am missing some configuration in here which I cannot figure out.

thanks,
siva

Other modules

If my memory serves me correctly, Debian has the webmin modules split up into several different packages.

Run a search in KPackage/Synaptic for 'webmin'. Obviously you could search using 'apt-cache search webmin' as well.

Hello,

I have the same problem. Does it mean that I need to install all module myself?

Try apt-get install webmin-core. It will give you more administration and some other tabs. You can also install other individual modules. i.e apt-get install webmin-samba
