Can you delete /var/cache/apt-build/build directory?
Is it okay to remove the /apt-build/build directory? There is a /apt-build/repository & build directories listed.
I have been playing around building some programs from sources. Maybe it would be better to burn them to a cd/dvd before deleting them, if that would be better?
Are you specifically building some code related to aptitude? If not, why even think about messing around with that directory. My thinking is that you build a program from source and install it into /usr/local/bin or /usr/local/sbin. The /var directory has nothing to do with that process.
No. I use the apt-build command to build debian programs from source. The /var/cache/apt-build/build directory is where the programs are built inside. I would like to know if it's okay to remove the files inside once the apps are installed?
