Can I set numlock to be on by default?

Hey all,

Is there some value in some file somewhere I can add/edit so that num-lock is on by default?

Thanks.

For KDE, there is a setting in the Kontrol Centre.

For Gnome, download a program called "numlockx". Then add it to the Startup Programs in Preferences - Sessions.

I hope this helps

Thanks, although I'm more of a KDE man myself...
Will that also work in KDE and non-graphical terminal sessions?
