Can't print to local printer

I'm running Debian sarge, KDE.
I can print to network-printers, but not to my local printer OKIpage 8p. The printer works fine in Fedora, CentOS, Lorma, Mepis, and a few others.
I have configured with webgui and KDE's tool, same problem.
Message from KDE is:
A print error occurred. Error message received from system:

cupsdoprint -P 'Oki' -J 'KDE Print Test' -H 'localhost:631' -U 'root' -o '
orientation-requested=3' '/usr/share/apps/kdeprint/' : execution failed with message:
It looks like some printer-setting is wrong, but I have checked all. Also tried different drivers, same message.
Any ideas?
