Hmmm!
Which reminds me, I once ran kwifimanager as root in KDE with command: kdesu kwifimanager, pretty sure you can run any GUI in KDE in this manner. But again, need to do the extra step of typing in the password. But a good point to mention here.
EDIT: Or maybe that's only for KDE apps, maybe someone can add info because I'm not sure.

Can't use console in Kiosk mode it won't let you.
Plus ease of use.
So back to my question is there a way round this limitation.
