I am having one heck of a time getting ispell/aspell to work at all.

I have a Knoppix 3.7 HD install and for some reason when I try to use
ispell I get this "ISpell could not be started. Please make sure you have
ISpell properly configured and in your PATH."

I have configured ispell in everything I can find which would effect the way
it should work.

I am not sure, but I think it is in the path, which is "root@Linux:/home/xx#."

If this is not the path would someone give me a hand with the proper path
and if this is the proper path can someone tell what I need to do to get ispell
to work.

The Debian package for Ispell/Aspell works flawlessly and Knoppix can be really different than.
