Can't finish booting via NFS. Udev, hotplug and modules problem.

Hi.

The systems are diskless, boot on network.
Having done a dist-upgrade (i use sarge), udev can't load because of old kernel.
I recompiled kernel but system boot stops at cron service.
I deinstalled udev and it goes further and finished booting, but without any modules loaded, even if i can load modules manually.
Then i reinstalled udev and now the system crashes at loading usb-ehci.
I deinstalled udev, and still the same problem.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Well, i built ramfs inside the kernel and removed usb-ohci (because i use an Intel chipset and had an error with it).
And now it works.
